Amanda Cummings,
Oh Glorious Day, my esteemed sugar pie. I am a huge fan of yours and the Miss Auburn Elections and you are marvelous! My name is Ryan Stephens, but you can call me “The Sunshine in Your Heart.” Allow me to tell you what the perfect man (me) is like: I’m a Senior Mechanical Engineer who actually has spoken to a girl before (not including my immediate family either!).
Not only am I
somewhat socially acceptable, I am also part of a no-instrument singing trio.
We call ourselves “Acapellocolypse,” for the end of crappy music
has drawn nigh (not really, there will still be SOME crappy music.) I attached
a picture of our triptet. I’m the good looking one. We do have some
boy band qualities, considering we are all heart-throbs. Alan is the ‘bad
boy,’ because sometimes he’s really stingy about how his burger
is cooked at grilles. I’m the ‘good one’ because I wear
white and part my hair. And Randy is the ‘diabetic one.’
I have also attached one of our hit songs, which I wrote specifically for you. You may not be able to tell because there are only about 6 real words in the song, including ‘do’ and ‘nah,’ but I also assumed that since I use a hyphen in the term ‘air-guitar’ that is only one word. But hopefully you won’t say “nah” to this proposal: Let me take you out to Mike and Ed’s for some fantastic BBQ!
Valentine’s
Day is coming up and I think there would be no better way than to spend it
eating a pound or two of chicken fingers with you. We can talk about how great
Auburn is and how much we love it. Well, I’m looking forward to hearing
from you soon and good luck in the Miss Auburn Election!
