Hey Barners, Booch here. I got some news for ya: the Tide is Back! Or let me rephrase... the Tide NATION is back! The Tide Nation is like an epidemic and it’s spreading!

First they made the movie 28 Days Later about zombies, and they are making another daggum movie called 28 Weeks Later!

Well now we are about to experience a real life version of the movie, called “28 Years Later” where the world thought they had fought off the onslaught of the Bammer Nation in 1979 only to have the virus break loose again in 2007!

Once again, you Barners will learn the real power behind Alabama Football- the fans.

Alabama Football hasn’t even accomplished anything yet, and we are already on the front of all our own newspapers! I don’t even know what happened down on the field. All I know is that a whole bunch of Bammers showed up at one place, it made news and now WE'RE BACK BABY!.

And yes the rumors are true, we are indeed going to create a statue in honor of Nick Saban, and since he has already done more for Alabama Football without coaching a single game than any other coach in the past 20 years, it's time we start contemplating whether or not to wedge the “Saban” name onto the Field or Stadium Title or whether we should go ahead and rename the University: ‘The University of Alabama at Nick Saban’. Or maybe we should rebuild the stadium out of Nick Saban Statues. I also submit this: should we stop calling them ‘football games’ and go ahead and start calling them ‘Sabanic Rituals’? Did you know that Nick Saban actually has the power to control the ocean tides?

Anyways, I don’t even know how we did at A-Day. But does that matter? 92,000 rednecks gathered together and there were no notable arrests. Things are already looking up for the Tide.

Roll
Tide
Roll!
